You may think that we do nothing but party around here, and that is not quite true; just once a month it's true.
First comes work, Patricia is turning over the ground for new planting of flowers. |
Here I am cracking nuts in the Biergarten... |
while Helen is working on her pottery for the sale at the end of April. |
In the middle of the week, I gave blood, the first time again in more than six month. Patricia doesn't give because she nearly fainted last time she tried. |
Here we are at the monthly Intern luncheon at GENI, a great time for everyone to get together.
On the weekend, the garden calls. Today we cut some of the pepper tree, so the garden will get more sun... |
while Michal is chopping all the branches in our new Chipper. |
Finally, Saturday afternoon and the party can start. Here we are still in the early stages. |
As everybody arrives, the table is loaded with great food and drink... |
and heavy conversation, especially after a few beers. |
After the last guest leave, the chickens and rabbits can clean up whatever is left over. |
And Michal can reflect on a successful day.
So this is what last week looked like. It's not all about party, and most of the time I think it is.
Get it?!?!?!?

Patricia displays some rocket, our first harvest from this year's garden. |
