These are ramblings of one living on the cutting edge of the baby boomer generation

I guess, no more of this
Well, here it is. Patricia and I are back to doing some serious walking again.
For my birthday last week, we each got a Fitbit tracker that counts our steps and gives us an insight into our actual fitness.
I need to lose some you-know-what. I think I have blamed the lens of the camera long enough for the distortion of my body.
We used to have this same kind of devise (pedometer) some years ago, and it helped motivate me to maintain my daily walks (nothing like big brother watching); it's actually fun when you get home from a walk, download the data and can see what you've done. Somehow, I think of it as instant gratification, because if I am trying to loose some weight or just stay fit, the results show up much later, and in the meantime I lose interest and give up.
If you are interested, here is my profile, and here is Patricia's profile.
And no, there is no a competition between us. Patricia works, and I have all the time to walk and climb stairs all day long.
