These are ramblings of one living on the cutting edge of the baby boomer generation

Well there goes another year
Yesterday was my Birthday, and what a birthday it was, but first lets go back a few days and see what I can come up with.
Last weekend our friends Tom and Wendy came for dinner on Saturday night and on Sunday morning the four of us went to the county fair, mainly to see the photos Tom and Patricia had accepted there and were on exhibit. I made the show 3 times by the time they got through once, I guess I have a photographic memory. Yap thats what it is.
Then we went to get some food and walked through the garden show and the woodworking exhibition, and that was just about all we could handle.
On Thursday was my princess Melinda's high school graduation it was great to see what a difference a school like Sunset makes in young peoples life.
In the meantime Michal and I had been working on the Beer garden and got it finished just in time for the big party yesterday, now we can talk about it, I have put some pictures on Picasa and my Facebook so everyone can get a feel for how it was. A great time was had by all, there were at least 50 friends visiting, we had a Keg of Yellow Tail Beer, and Beer Tom brought some of his own brew, it tasted like Candy, some Bratwurst, Sauerkraut, Rotkraut (lots of Kraut) Bretzeln (Pretzel) Kartoffelsalat, and stacks of other food and drink.
The "Koenig's Biergarten" looked just great, and Michal and I were padding each others shoulders. We did miss David who also had part in building the garden with us.
After all had enough to eat and drink and generally had a great time finishing the afternoon of with great cake (Patricia made a Lemon Torte, to die for) and especially Tom's "Double Chocolate Fudge Cake", even I could only eat one slice. Then Maria(7)from next door did entertain us with a dance just before everyone helped with the cleanup, and before I finished my last beer all was tugged away and I fell into bed exhausted. If anyone ask, I had a great Birthday, from now on I will get the mailings from AARP, Medicare, Eldercare, (not giving, receiving)etc.for the next year, how do I feel about that?
So this is it for now, I am still helping out at GENI and looking for a job with some income. Life is great, Patricia is keeping me on the strait and not so narrow.
