Flight into the Dessert

Finally there is something I can write about, not that nothing has happened since my last entry, it's just that I was so preoccupied with my back hurting that I had not incarnation to sit down and write anything.
So lets start with last Sunday, Michal invited me to fly with him and Sam to Bishop at the eastern foothill of the Sierras, for to get there we had to fly over the mountains San Bernadino Mountains and then into the Mojave Desert.
It was a great trip, it took us about two and half hour one way and the weather and scenery was breath taking at times. I took about a million pictures and you can see some of them here.
For the last few week, as I mentioned I have been down with back pain, seem to afflict people my age, and at time it gets a bit better and then I pull out some trees or lift a car and bamm there it is again, I do hope I learn some time.
About beginning of last month we had a party for Michal down at the Airport where he has his plain, it was his 50th and lots of friends turned up, Helen made it a surprise party and it worked like a charm, Michal had no clue at all. I have some of the pictures from the party here.
Helen and Michal went on a cruise in the Caribbean for 10 days and me and some help, remember my back, worked the garden in the meantime.
Patricia also started to plant some snap peas and lettuces and as soon as they can be seen I will take a picture and show.
I think this is it in short, AHHHH on the flight I got a nice surprise when Daireus contacted us on the plain, he was flying near by with a student, it's was real fun when I heard him asking over the air "is this you Michal?"
OK enough for now enjoy the pictures and hope that you can do this one day yourself.
