Alice, Kristin & Patricia
This is Kristins last week at GENI, so we and a little get together and lunch to celebrate. Everybody brings something to eat and we all feed our faces. Patricia made a slow cooked lentil dish and I made a parfait, the recipe I got from Thomas my cousin in Germany (I could tell a few story's about him) and it turned out great.
It's actually very easy, you take 2 eggs, 2 egg jocks, and 125gr icing sugar, beat this warm and cold, (beat it warm first over a flame until it is about 48C, like it feels warm on your finger, and then beat it until it is clod again).
The beat 500ml of cream. Mash up the fruit you want to put in, and then lift the fruit and the cream into the egg mixture alternatively. Put the whole thing into the freezer for at least 3 hours and wolla you have a nice Parfait. By the way you can experiment also with putting in some alcohol or other flavors.
GENI at the World Trade Center
We wish Kristin all the best for the future and hope she had a great time in California.
Right now GENI is still at the World Trades Center in San Diego, and we are looking for a new place, because the place is up for sale.
