More Cooking

Today seems to be another cooking day, Patricia tells me this is the time of year, just preparing for the cold and unforgiving winter we have here in southern California. Freezer full of peeled Capote Peeled prickly pearI started of with peeling and depipping of the Sabote, filling up the freezer, then I burned of the prickles of the pear and peeled them, Patricia wants to make jam, and in the meantime I had to watch the slow cooker making a bean stew, and then of course testing it. Slow cooked lima bean stew
