This week in Text
This week was just another great week, nothing much happening, just the way I like it.
There was a first, I went into the Pacific Ocean for a swim, I just love the sound of it.
I also finished reading my current book,'The Woman Behind the New Deal' by Kirstin Downey.
A great book, I like books about real people who have achieved great things and not so great things.
The book is a biography of Frances Perkins, the Secretary of Labor in FDR's Government. It is a very remarkable book, about a very remarkable person. Easy to read, short chapters.
Then on Wednesday Daireus came over for Dinner and was hurting, he just did a new exercise routine, there are 500 repetitions, 50 of each kind, he suggested that we start with 10 of each kind.
Yesterday Patricia and I went to the movies, Angles and Demons, with Tom Hanks.
We thought it was a very good movie not to much gooore well directed and acted.
Earlier in the after noon I went with Helen and Michal to get a new flat panel TV at Frys.
And not to forget the Lakers won a game in Denver.
Tonight we are going to dinner at Wendy's and Tom. Patricia can bring 50 pictures to show and so can Tom and I am bringing 10.
