Random Thoughts 2

Getting and staying fit is one of the considerations I have some of the time, I don’t want to say that is my goal, because I like to be flexible and not feel guilty when I want to sleep in some mornings. In order to stick to some regiment we got ourselves a SportBrain a few year ago, it’s a little devise attached to my belt and is counting every step I take during a day. What it does for me in essence is to check if I did my 10,000 steps a day, supposed to be good for me. It is kind of a motivational tool, and more so it lets me look back on some days and see how physically active I was, or if I was manly deep in thought all day. It also shows me how I am doing in relation to others in my age group, and then I can manipulate by either setting the age up or down. That is about as competitive as I am getting at the best of times. I remember a friend of mine in Hawaii said once as I congratulated him to his 50th birthday “If I would have known that I am living to this high age I properly would have taken better care of myself.” Looking around nowadays lot of people getting up there in age, so I better start taking care, Patricia is looking after my food intake, some of the time, and I am thankful, lots of fiber and antecedent’s. 6/30/08
