We needed it too, as we spent the morning booking our train trip to France at the local train station. Because we waited so late to make our reservations, we had a hard time finding a connection to our destination in Provence...
Everything was booked out, and you can not ride on the French TGV (Bullet Train) unless you have a booking.
In the end, we did get a reservation and unexpectedly had to pay extra for the travel in France, not at all what we had expected when we bought the Europass. Well, we live and learn.
Guess what?
Yes, you're right; there was another street fest this night, this time Im Bohnen Virtel von Stuttgart, the old part of town. This is held once a year and every little street and ally is packed with happy people.
So we came to discover that the Germans, at least in this area, are a real party lot. And Patricia has noticed how sweet people are toward one other, genuinely enjoying each other, talking and drinking beer together.
It was well after midnight when we got home.
