It's Chocolate all the way down

Today Bernd took us to the Ritter Sport Chocolate factory in Waldenbuch, about a 40 minutes drive from Stuttgart. It was quit an adventure. First we learned all about the history of the company and the making of chocolate, and admired the beautiful entrance to their museum, colorful square glass reminiscent of their unique packaging.
This is the entrance to the museum, depicting the
colors and shapes of the chocolate.

Then we had a bite to eat before entering the holy grail of chocolate sales.
I thought I had died and gone to haven.

How about three feet of chocolate

After this experience, Bernd dropped us off at my friend Holger's - in '92 we were living in the same house for a few years - and he had coffee and cake ready and lots of memories to share.
When his son Timothy came home from school, Holger took us to see Hardy, another friend of ours on the opposite of the town. Hardy has a factory that produces welding equipment, and he has put an actual Starfighter on the roof of his factory; it has attracted much controversy and attention, a must see.

We were so hunger after that that Holger took us out to an-all-you-can-eat Chinese Restaurant.  I invited Jonas, my cousin Johannes', son to join us.  We will be staying with Johannes and Heidi in Freiburg.

To top it all off, we then went to see our friend Wolfgang, who also had fixed my teeth way back in '95, and they are still holding. Another late night.
