Nothing wrong with my leg, just the
first leg of our trip to the Christmas Markets in Germany.
We left yesterday from Carlsbad
Airport, a small local airport near where we live, and after some
excitement with our booking and the help of great United ground
staff, Patricia sorted it all out. We waited for about 7 hours to get
a flight to Los Angeles of 20minutes flying time.
While we were waiting, we enjoyed a
very nice dinner at the airport sports-bar while watching a beautiful
sunset and then a football game.
Once in LA, we stayed over night at the
Holiday Inn and left in the morning on a 3.5 hour flight to Atlanta.
From here, we hope to leave either
tonight or tomorrow to Stuttgart or Munich or Zurich. Standby is
tight, so we'll take whatever gets across the pond and close to our
destination.
