Easy drive home

We were expecting rain, so we wanted to leave early, but the rain never came.
After waking to a clear sky and fog in the valley, we said our good-byes and left at about 9:30.

We decided to take it easy and go the long way back home.  First we took 79 toward Warner Springs and then route 76 past Lake Henshaw toward Pauma Valley, and this got us all the way home.

The fields were full of beautiful flowers as we approached Warner Springs

All that color from such small flowers, barely an inch across.

On the way, we picked up great fruit and vegetables, grown right here. 

Me too, I am just not as elegant.
