The tile floor needed to be sealed. |
Still more boxes of papers have to be shelved. |
All the light-bulbs had to be changed to energy efficient ones. |
and still lots of walls needed to be painted. |
In the meantime on the home-front, we have two
additions to Patricia's great gift with plant and flowers.

And then comes the party. It happened yesterday
Saturday 18, starting at 2:30. It was meant to
be desserts and coffee and such, and I think everybody
left with a real sugar buzzzz and had a great time.
Or if I speak for myself, I had a fantastic time.
There were about 50 friends and neighbors,
all bringing some delicious sweet, and Patricia
made me a fantastic German chocolate torte -
I allow others to have some. I got to
make my once-a-year indulgence of a number
of cakes and sweets.

And another one of my creations. |
There were lots more that our friend contributed. |
What to choose is the question. |
The garden is filling up. |
Great conversations and new people you meet. |
I am having a great time. |
And getting a bunch of flowers from Patty. |
Last, Patricia made Maria happy by telling her that the torte she made was Gluten free, so Maria could enjoy some too. |
And in the evening the Party continued at Natalie's family,
where there is always a party, find out more at the Chicken Blog.
Another great weekend was had by all, especially since we can relax today,
other than my writing the blog, and Patrica doing gardening, planning what
we are going to eat this week and shopping and cooking all day.
