We had a great Party, it was mainly in honor of our Summer Interns, most of them are from France, La Rochelle, and also from Germany. We had been a bit concerned about the weather holding up, and we were lucky, the sky opened up and it was beautiful. As you can see in the pictures we did have a lot to eat, like Michal made some Guacamole, Violette did bring some Flan, Patricia made her famous Enchiladas, we also got some Tamales, Mole Chicken, and Natalie made some Chili Con Carne. To drink we had Champurrada and of course Margarita's and lots of Cerveca. So all in all great Comida. Then there was Horse shoe games, I only could get a plastic one, and Pat from across the street came to the rescue and gave us her real one with real Horse shoe's. Of course it would not be a real Mexican party if we did not have a Pinada with lots of sweets in it, and when it lots one leg after another, there was everyone racing for the sweets flying all over the place.
So in the end all had lots of fun, and we met some more of our neighborer's and hope to continue this next time when we have our October fest in guess.
September will be taken up by organizing and working at the WRSC, and we intend to make it as much fun and educational as humanly possible.
