Fallon NV

Mono Lake
As I am writing this, I am sitting in Fallon NV visiting mom. On Thursday we got a call that Mom had pneumonia and that was enough for as to decide on the spot to drive up her, we had been planing this for the beginning of May, and this is just as good, it has been almost a year since we saw mom last time, and this was as good as any. It takes us 10 hours to drive here, we left home at 3:30AM and by the time daylight was in full bloom, we had driven through the dessert the most boring part of the drive. After we stopped at Lone Pine for our every time hot chocolate, and at Bishop to buy some jam and bread at Erik Shats we turned of from 295 at Mono Lake and took 167 and over the next hour we had the road almost to our self's, we saw all of 8 cars coming our way. We got to Fallon at 13:30 and went strait to see mom, she seemed good, and after Patricia had some words with the doctor it Barbaras horseswas time to take mom to the hospital where she could get some treatment. So for the last day or so we sat at moms bedside, having a party. Its great to be at Patricia's sister Barbara's house, she has a bunch of horses and I get to feed them and pad them. It looks like that we are driving back to Encinitas tomorrow, another 10hour of unadulterated fun. Ather then that not much happening here, I am still helping out at GENI an having fun. We did miss the inspection of a 10000square foot building on Friday to see if it would be suitable for the WRSC as a venue.
