Saturday doings

Today was another busy day, working in the garden visiting and shopping for food.

Lets start working the garden, we now have finished with the existing community garden, we had a good run for the last two years, with Susanne & Barry, Dorte & Louis, Michal & Helen and Patricia and I. After Patricia dropped out first, and after her Helen we decided to call it a day, everybody is busy with live and was time for a change.

So today Michal and I started to clean out first the outside garden and then cleaned out the stuff inside the garden, (note that one of as is supervising), we have a great lemon verbena tree, smells out of this world, as this tree will move to the middle of the garden and after we rotortill and add compost we will divide the plot into four and let some friends have a go at it. And while the man were working in the garden my honey was cooking a storm, making the best granola bar's ever. while downstairs Helen was creative with her pottery making beautiful things and getting frightened by a gofer snake.

At 15:00 we went to visit Tom and Wendy to pick some of there prickly pear, for another lot of wine, Tom helped me picking, and found himself scratching and itching.

Last but not least we went shopping at Jimbo's and TJ's for grocery's so we can eat next week.

So there now I am looking forward to whats happening tomorrow.
