Mothers Day 2009
You would think with me not working I would have a lot of time on my hands to write my blog, not so, there are tons of things to do. At the moment I am organising the catering and the A/V for the GENI WRSC workshop in the middle of next month. And if that was not enough I also had to turn the compost in the garden last week.
So let me start with Mothers day, Patricia and I drove to Fallon NV for visit Mom and Barbara and everyone else.
On the way up and down we stayed the night at a little place called Independence,(if you blink you missed it) just on the foot of the mountains. We got up early and Patricia took lots of photos, and so did I.
I was happy to spend time with Barbara's horses, and buddy up with Gabi.
George put on a great BBQ for the family and it was fun to see everyone again after 8 month.
Mom is in very good shape, after all she is only 92.
Mom and I got to get ourselves a Blizert at Dairy Queen and enjoyed it witting in the Car next to the towns park like a young couple.
On our way back we took a slightly different road, 359 over to Mono Lake, scenic drive great views. Then we stopped again in Bishop where we visited the Shat's Bakery to get some more bread and jam.
And than on Tuesday the week went into full swing again.
