Trip to AZ
Now I am sitting her with a glass of red and enjoy the fact that I am working again.
I have to admit that semiretirement is just not what it is caut out
to be.
This morning I left Encinitas and my honey behind and went to the great space of Arizona.
It was a nice easy drive, I set the cruse on 70 and that was it. I had been to El Centro before, and the landscape impresses me every time, especially the mountains of rocks.
Then when I got down to the dessert it was all flat and I loved the sand dunes, and was watching sand buggies racing around.
I was taken a back when I saw a fence between the US and Mexican border, what a joke.
I also think the long trains are something else, I have counted about 100 wagons on some of them.
Coming into Phoenix it is just like any other city, except I am very happy that civilization seems to be here, I can actually buy some booze in a store, without giving my first born, like in N
All in all a great day and tomorrow I will find out what store I have.
