We continued our walk to Glebe (about 3 miles) where I had lived in the 70s and 80s and where I had some of my restaurants. Trying to surprise my friends Grahame and Peter did not work, no one was home. We did visit my produce grocer or at least his son who now runs the store, and being Lebanese, of course, we walked away with a bag full of groceries and a dinner invitation when we return to Sydney in a month or two.
After walking along Glebe Point Rd some more and enjoying a Gelato, we took a bus back to Coogee were Uli was slaving over a hot stove preparing a chicken curry and a lamb curry for These are ramblings of one living on the cutting edge of the baby boomer generation
